Duties Include:
Interviewing victims and witnesses, both hostile and friendly;
Writing thorough and comprehensive reports that detail the witness'
and victim's interviews;
Issuing and serving subpoenas/subpoena duces tecum on victims,
witnesses, medical facilities, police and other government agencies;
Testifying in court to support the attorneys and clients in their
defense;
Reviewing police reports to identify potential witnesses, understand
the facts of the incident, look for inconsistencies, and to
understand and implement a defense theory;
Reviewing police officer's body worn footage;
Performing skip traces to locate victims and witnesses;
Taking photos of crime scenes, client's injuries and victim's
injuries;
Collecting and reviewing surveillance footage;
Facilitating civil compromises;
Conducting social media investigation for the purposes of locating
witnesses, victims, and to assess their credibility.

Duties include the following:
Maintaining, indexing, and detailing all discovery on 5 Special
Circumstance Homicide cases;
Creating logs that reflect all discovery, witnesses, officers, and
others items of evidence;
Creating binders that reflect such logs;
Reviewing all discovery, video, audio, and any other piece of
information pertaining to the case in order to assist the attorneys
and investigators at trial, preliminary hearings, pre-trials,
settlements, and other various motions;
Facilitating Public Record's Act requests;
Corresponding with experts to ensure they receive the requisite
discovery efficiently and effectively;
Gathering records;
Interviewing, assessing, and managing paralegal interns.
